Hey Everyone!

I’m Trista Lee and I can’t wait to share my art and my story with you because I truly believe that art is all about connection!  

 

My love for creating began as a child. I remember the joy I had when I made a "Happy Valentines Day" card for my mom in elementary school. There was something so special about creating something from my heart and gifting it to someone I love. My love for creating continued and I found my passion for watercolor in High School where I was able to take an AP Studio Art class. I found myself mesmerized with how the pigment and water danced together to create something magical. I found the idea of letting the watercolor do its own thing so freeing as it forced me to let go of control and to see what happened.

As life tends to go, I stopped painting for a couple of years as the pressure of college and playing volleyball at the University level took up all of my time. I graduated college in 2021 with a Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice and currently work a 9-5 as an office coordinator for a Law Firm in Boulder, CO. 

 

But here’s the exciting part—my passion for watercolor was reignited in August 2025! I had the incredible opportunity to study under George Politis, a phenomenal Watermedia artist from Greece, who inspired me to fully embrace my gift with color. Since then, I’ve been pouring every free moment into my art, and I haven't looked back since! Once I become invested into something I give it my whole soul and that is exactly what I am doing with launching my website.
